To celebrate the arrival of legendary British chef Marco Pierre White's first public appearance to New Zealand, a special dinner was staged on 31 October 2019 in the upstairs area of Shed 10 on Queens Wharf, Auckland.

 

This "White Tie" dinner event was in honour of Marco’s world-renowned book “White Heat.”

 

Over 400 diners enjoyed a four-course dinner with matching wines. The menu was a collaboration and tribute of dishes from Marco Pierre White’s restaurants and top New Zealand chefs, Gareth Stewart, Josh Emmett as well as executive chef Andrew Bennett. Marco took to the stage alongside master of ceremony and presenter, Kerre Woodham for a Q&A segment during dinner and graced the dining room throughout the evening as guests met and mingled with the legendary chef.

The event also ran a live and silent auction with proceeds going towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
